So much has been going on around here lately that I haven’t taken the time to actually sit down and blog (it’s summertime), plus what time I do spend on the Internet I’ve become addicted to SparkPeopleand don’t take time to let those out there that stop by on occasion know what’s happening.
A couple of months ago, I blogged about this wonderful weight loss page I found that gave you tips on changing your ‘life’ and not just some fad diet that wants your money for you to join. It’s free!! And I got hooked up with a team on there that does ten day challenges, every ten days the challenge changes, and also we’re doing a ‘summer challenge’ where every week we do something new. It keeps my exercise interesting and I don’t get bored and stop…and it also makes me do more than just walk. I’m really enjoying it, and my clothes are starting to fit better. Hopefully I’ll reach my goal that I’ve set for December of 2008.
We took the kids to Elephant Rock on Saturday, July 12. Simeon kept saying ‘This is SOOO AWESOME!’ all day, as we jumped and climbed all through the rocks. We took another family from the church with us that have two small children that Tara babysat, everyone had a really good time…even Tara and Lori — though they had their doubts.
Riley and Tara are still State Side. They are trying to raise their annual income (so they will have something to eat on while in Ireland). You can check the March Gang here, and keep up to date on their lives as they prepare to be Missionaries to Ireland. There are other Missionaries that have already went to Ireland, you can see some pics of the area The Gang will be living if you check out the Bunch’s blog.
There is so much other stuff that is happening…but I’ll cut this short and try to get some new pics posted soon.
