I returned from a weekend away to the ‘death in three’ motto that they say happens. Three people that I am slightly connected to passed away in the span of three days. Bob Turner, a guy who attended my church until he had a stroke and whose family still attends my church. Joyce McClintock, my great aunt. And Heather Donnell, her family attends my church and she has came on occasion. One died of complications with diabeties and stroke, one died of cancer, and one was murdered. It brings into focus how fragile life is. We sometimes take it for granted and don’t stop for a breather and appreciate our life and those around us. Tell the person you love that you love them…time sometimes can be to short.
